Position SummaryThe Scrum Master will be responsible for developing an agile basedSDLC/APLC for a new development organization for a project teamconsisting of development resources in an implementation of large, complextechnology and business oriented project. They will also be responsible forthe coaching/mentoring of existing development managers/leads on thismethodology as it is implemented and used during the project developmentlife cycleRequired QualificationsDevelop agile based SDLC/APLC for new software developmentorganization creating necessary standards, tools and best practices in aclearly document form. Participate and support initial development pilotsduring the initial phases of the project. Organize and facilitate projectplanning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint andrelease planning, demos and other Scrum-related meeting Track andcommunicate team velocity and sprint/release progress Maintain processdocumentation Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agileprinciples of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibilityUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & SprintBacklogs. Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practiceSupport the development managers and project leads as necessary Assistwith internal and external communication, improving transparency, andradiating information Assist team with making appropriate commitmentsthrough story selection, task definition Identify and remove impediments,prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver thesprint goal Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution Empower the teamsto self-organize Improve the productivity of the teams in any way possibleEnsure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentiallyshippable Participate in the organization and planning of the developmentschedule based on methodology that has been developed to create acohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and majormilestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuringsuccessful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parametersAdapting project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as requiredthroughout pilot projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks.Preferred QualificationsAbility to understand technical issues at a high levelExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality typesThorough understanding of agile software development methodologies,values, and proceduresAbility to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timelinesensitive work environmentExcellent team player and team builderEducationMust be a Certified Scrum Master with 3+ years project management andScrum Master experience.Bachelor's degree in a closely-related field, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
