Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Austin, Texas. The hired candidate will be working in the healthcare industry, focusing on the organization and analysis of medical records for accuracy and completeness. This role involves processing and storing files according to designated procedures and using various software including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel.

Training Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday (1 week)

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday

3:30pm - 12 am Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Organize and analyze medical records to ensure their accuracy and completeness

• Store files in the designated areas following the appropriate storage procedures

• Scan records for processing and data entry purposes

• Ensure compliance with confidentiality guidelines in handling medical records

• Utilize various software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel for processing and managing records

• Assist in clinical trial operations and ensure adherence to compliance requirements

• Create charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel to present data effectively

• Address and resolve any inquiries related to customer credit.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create charts and graphs

• Experience with Clinical Trial Operations

• Understanding of Compliance principles and practices

• Ability to maintain Confidentiality of sensitive medical records

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks.
