PRIMARY PURPOSE Under general supervision, maintain the flow and drainage of water, air, and other gases by assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures districtwide. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in ESC facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: High School graduate or GED Equivalent Valid master plumber's license issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners Clear and valid Texas driver's license

Experience: Four years plumbing experience.

Special Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in Spanish and English speaking, reading, and writing skills. Familiar with facility operations procedures. Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques. Knowledge of plumbing codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to diagnose and resolve problems. Ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment. Ability to meet established deadlines.
