Amazon Logistics Coordinator III, Global Logistics in Austin, Texas

Description

The Global Logistics team is growing and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Coordinator to assist in ensuring cargo integrity for Amazon Inbound Transportation. As Amazon continues to drive cargo integrity within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our tools and processes and drive improvements though shipper and carrier performance management and internal partnerships. In this role, the candidate will assist Inbound Transportation's Cargo Integrity team to create solutions and take action to ensure that freight arrives to Amazon as scheduled. We are focused on learning, innovating, and are a customer-centric team. We are looking for candidates that have the ability to dive deep in a complicated problems and drive resolution to disruptions in the inbound processes. The Logistics Coordinator will be able to communicate at a high level, as regular and ongoing communications with Amazon's shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders will be required to uphold compliance to Amazon's standards.

Key job responsibilities

  • Assist with trailer seal compliance audits for both carriers and selling partners

  • Communicate externally with carriers and selling partners on requirements for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) seals

  • Perform deep dives into unreceived inventory and analyze root causes

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

  • Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data

  • Experience using data to drive root cause analysis and process improvement recommendations
