We are seeking an experienced Financial Project Manager (Healthcare Industry) to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare background, comprehensive understanding of healthcare finance, and a visionary for future development in the healthcare sector. This key role will involve running projects in a Project Management Office (PMO) type role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage financial projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.

• Operate and maintain accounting software systems.

• Supervise the proper functioning of business systems.

• Perform and organize accounting tasks as per industry standards.

• Conduct audit processes to maintain financial compliance.

• Handle billing functions ensuring extreme financial accuracy.

• Oversee budgeting processes and deliver financial forecasts.

• Utilize Workday ERP for financial management and regular decision-making.

• Apply project management skills to oversee and guide the financial team.

• Understand and successfully navigate the intricacies of the healthcare revenue cycle and its operations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a experience in detail oriented in healthcare finance with a strong vision of the future. We need a competent specialist who can manage vital projects in the dynamically evolving healthcare industry.

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the Healthcare industry.

• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software systems.

• Familiarity with About Time software.

• Deep understanding of business systems.

• Solid expertise in various accounting functions.

• Proven experience in auditing and billing functions.

• In-depth understanding and facilitation of budget processes.

• Proficiency in using Workday ERP for financial management.

• Exceptional project management skills.

• Familiarity with EPIC.

• Thorough understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle.

• Experience in healthcare operations.
