Works with senior leadership, planning committees and other campus stakeholders to direct and manage master planning, feasibility studies, and project planning by establishing project scope, schedule, budget for concurrent multiple planning projects. Assist in development, implementation, comprehensive planning, and forecasting. Support plans with input on the technical, financial, operational, and functional impact of engineering and design practices.Support capital renewal efforts through assessment of existing building, infrastructure conditions, and impact on institutional goals. In collaboration with other facility and / or related departments, develop programming or feasibility studies of a particular district of campus, and/or create and implement solutions. Responsible for consultant recommendations, overview and selection.Produce supportive documents for the area of expertise to ensure innovation, functional design, and the compliance with codes and standards. Resolve complex issues and campus infrastructure challenges by developing options keeping in mind client's needs, total cost of ownership, building's usage, code and standards, longevity of building overall life, and environmental impact. Participate in the development and maintenance of design and construction standards.Schedule and forecast multiple complex projects or a program of projects for maximum project execution.Responsible for analyzing data and technical drawings. Producing or reviewing construction and renovation estimates in support of planning by maintaining and utilizing data and research.Secure/maintain required discipline license including any continued education criterion.Other related functions as assigned.
