Samsung Austin Semiconductor, LLC is hiring an Engineer I in Austin, Texas.

Duties: Correct updates to part informs regarding tools that are quality poor performing. Follow up with any abnormal production recovery after a critical tool fault. Ensure Correct information gathering and passdown. Check all production on hold and have a proper dispo plan for immediate flow. Follow up with all new production setup and production path priorities depending on shipments dates. Inform reviews and proper escalation in the case of any abnormality identified. Serve as the main line of communication between shift supervisors, layer owner engineers and technicians for any technical guidance or training requests. (Multiple Openings)

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Requires completion of a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following: 1. Synthesis and Timing analysis; 2. Microcontroller logic design; 3. Ceramic Materials Processing; 4. Sputter Deposition/ Chemical Vapor Deposition; 5. XRD/ SEM Analysis; 6. Dynamic Light Scattering; and 7. Device Enhancement.
