Strategic Development and ImplementationDevelop and implement workforce development strategies for the energy industry that align with best practices and The University of Texas at Austin's mission and values.Lead the planning and execution of training and educational programs aimed at enhancing workforce skills and capabilities with an array of community partners.Community Engagement and Partnership DevelopmentBuild and maintain robust relationships with community partners, including local workforce development boards, employers, educational institutions, community-based organizations, and civic leaders, to support workforce development efforts.Conduct outreach activities, such as listening tours, community events, townhalls, and targeted meetings, to gather feedback and increase awareness of the institute's projects and initiatives.Serve as a liaison between the organization and community groups and government, fostering understanding, collaboration, and positive relationships.Workforce Assessment and AnalysisConduct needs assessments and job estimation analyses to identify workforce development priorities for nine statewide energy projects.Utilize data and feedback from community engagement efforts to inform strategic decision-making and program development.Project Management and ReportingManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives.Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of workforce development and community engagement initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and mentor a team of community engagement professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Additional ResponsibilitiesContribute to the overall success of the Energy Institute by participating in special projects and other coordinated efforts as needed.
