TALENT MANAGEMENT: Provide leadership and strategic direction for the specialized masters career coaching team, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and professional development across all coaching roles. Oversee best practices in coaching, identify industry trends, and equip team members with resources for continuous growth. Foster a culture of learning and innovation to enhance advising effectiveness and student outcomes.STRATEGY AND INNOVATION: Drive continuous improvement in the career management experience by identifying opportunities to enhance programming, digital resources, and career tools. Lead the refinement of the Canvas site and implement best practices that align with evolving student and employer needs. Partner with employer teams to support the expansion of the just-in-time hiring strategy across programs, ensuring a scalable and responsive approach. Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate innovative solutions that strengthen career outcomes and student engagement.CAREER EDUCATION PROGRAMMING: Oversee the development and execution of career education initiatives, including orientation, MS career education, and ACE programming, in collaboration with the team. Enhance program impact by integrating industry best practices and exploring new approaches to equip students for career success. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure programming remains responsive to evolving student needs and employer expectations. Leverage data and feedback to refine career education efforts.OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS: Provide strategic oversight of budget management, vendor selection, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Evaluate and implement vendor partnerships for specialized programs, ensuring alignment with long-term goals. Lead cross-department coordination to drive operational improvements and optimize resources. Leverage data analytics to assess advising systems, career outcomes, and student engagement, driving continuous improvement and innovation.CAREER COACHING: Provide strategic leadership in career coaching, ensuring best practices are implemented across the team. Oversee training and professional development initiatives to enhance advising effectiveness and staff expertise. Guide the team in managing student coaching loads efficiently through scalable strategies, including group advising and industry career consultants. Establish and maintain benchmarks for coaching excellence, integrating the latest research and self-assessment tools to support student career development. Serve as an escalation point for complex student cases, ensuring a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.EMPLOYER AND ALUMNI RELATIONS: Partner with Employer Engagement and Alumni Engagement teams to strengthen employer and alumni involvement in student career development. Work closely with employer and alumni teams to enhance engagement initiatives, optimize just-in-time hiring strategies, and expand alumni involvement in career education and coaching. Identify innovative ways to scale high-touch connections, fostering a robust ecosystem that supports long-term student and employer success.ADMISSIONS AND MARKETING: Partner with Admissions to leverage data analytics and storytelling, shaping a compelling narrative around student career success across industry sectors. Coordinate with Admissions on student issues related to success in the career search.COMMUNICATIONS AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS: Lead career-related communications for specialized masters students, ensuring alignment and effective messaging across the Career Management team and key stakeholders. Foster seamless collaboration with MSPO, Employer Engagement, Recruitment Operations, Business Development, Student Experience, Admissions, Advisory Boards, and Alumni to streamline calendaring, event planning, and scheduling. Establish best practices for cross-functional engagement to enhance coordination and visibility of career programmi g.
