Administer strategic projects at the direction of the Associate Vice President, with a focus on building efficiencies, strengthening, and leveraging relationships across business units. Duties include collecting input from and convening stakeholders both within and external the CFO portfolio; Perform appropriate research for special projects as determined by the AVP and take part in policy review, development, and coordination of implementation. Oversee transfer of projects to other stakeholders as appropriate. Attend meetings on behalf of the AVP and effectively represent the Office of the Vice President and Chief Financial OfficerProvide thoughtful input and planning toward the universitys efforts to deliver high-quality financial operations. Work with various campus constituents, teams, and offices to identify opportunities for professional development, shared best practices, and develop innovative tools to streamline efficiencies and lessen administrative burden, while ensuring high standards of compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.Prepare financial reports and reviews for Associate Vice President. Provide financial data to inform budgets and financial projections. Maintain documents related to financial commitments, including contextual background.
