Contribute primarily in an EDA capacity to building a development ecosystem that enables large and small to start-up companies to access the necessary tools and processes to design heterogenous integrated systems.Work with the finance and general counsel teams to negotiate EDA contracts on behalf of TIE.Create TIE based EDA flows to enable efficiently, optimized heterogenous integrated package designs.Work with technology team to develop required process design kits (PDKs) and assembly design kits (ADKs).Ensure outsourced circuit and package design companies deliver solutions compatible with industry standards and TIE requirements.In collaboration with partners, lead research on design tools and systems that enable breakthrough EDA solutions.Manage EDA tool costs.Provide tool support for TIE design systems.Establish design network for use by TIE and its partners when designing using the TIE network.Attend EDA conferences addressing key TIE concerns.Develop a TIE tool set that includes the capability to model electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance.Build a team necessary to meet the demands of the TIE mission.
