Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Clinical Operations reports to the Vice President of St. David’s Care Partners. The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the Clinical Integration program in collaboration with the St. David’s Care Partners (SDCP) Vice President, Medical Director, and Board of Managers. Administrative lead for the SDCP Quality Committee, Joint Operating Committees with payer partners. Program champion for clinical leaders of practices participating in the SDCP CIN.

  • You will collaborate with SDCP Vice President, Medical Director and Board to set CIN organization strategy and key initiatives. Collaborate with Board and Quality Committee chair to set clinical agendas and execute on determined action items.

  • You will be responsible for leading the development, tracking, and implementation of the network’s quality, cost savings and outreach priorities.

  • You will lead the day-to-day operations of the clinical department staff to ensure compliance with SDCP policy, HCA legal and payer contract requirements.

  • You will be responsible for the education and training processes for CI program implementation with all participating physician practice sites.

  • You will lead evaluation of the CI program initiatives for effectiveness, and manages annual process to assess and improve the CI quality program.

  • You will identify best practices in regards to the delivery of high quality, cost-efficient care in the hospital and physician practice settings.

  • You will collaborate with SDCP and HCA VBE Analytics to develop reports and conduct business analysis of CI program priorities. Analyze and interpret clinical quality, cost, and utilization data, and sets or adjusts program strategy accordingly.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Experience leading population health/value based care efforts for a similar organization, including 5+ years in a management, leadership or consulting role. Accountable Care Organization (ACO), managed care, or physician group practice experience required.

  • Progressive success leading clinical, administrative or finance-related functions within value-based care

  • Ability to think strategically, implement plans and manage performance expectations

  • Ability to assess competing priorities, manage workflow and meet operational deadlines in a complex organization

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with physician partners, individuals and/or teams, across disciplines

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, comfort in presenting complex material to a variety of audiences

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiarity with EMR, CRM and business analytics software.
