Summary

Avail, by realtor.com is looking for a Senior Product Management Leader to be a driving force in creating world-class experiences that help DIY landlords automate their processes and tasks along the customer lifecycle. This role is at the forefront of innovation, change, and outcomes in one of the largest DIY landlord and renter communities in the U.S.

As Head of Product, you’ll be the coach and advocate for a team of product managers, and guide the whole picture from strategy, planning, to supporting your team to craft and iterate on our offerings. You’ll be responsible for the products that will fuel our future growth, expanding our customer and consumer reach, while diversifying our business. You’ll coach the team to be more creative and bold in their product plans, build deep collaboration cross-functionally, and ship a lot of engaging, beautiful and personalized new product experiences.

You balance strategic thinking with outstanding execution holding yourself and your team accountable to delivering successful outcomes. You enjoy solving complex business problems at the core of a transformation of a leading digital real estate company. You are creative and capable of formulating bold product strategies. It is imperative that you’re a motivated, data-driven innovative thinker with the ability to quickly grasp opportunities and apply exceptional product management skills to help the company capitalize on our mission to make buying, selling, renting, and living in homes easier and more rewarding for everyone.

This role reports to the Head of Avail.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant digital product management experience

• 6+ years of working in a product-led organization

• 3+ years of managing a team of two or more product managers

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Experience leading agile technology teams in a SaaS environment serving B2B or B2C markets

• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-driven narrative

• Enjoy adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger product capabilities as a result

• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to bring many parties and perspectives together, forge a vision and drive towards common goals

• A sense for good workflow and design

• Experience delivering iteratively with cross-disciplined teams

• Informed and strong opinions, loosely held

• Exemplifies a We, Not Me attitude

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of value delivery that aligns to company OKRs

• Drive a culture of consumer/customer centric thinking and prioritization

• Identify, develop, and present product-lead growth strategies and opportunities

• Maintain a clear value-driven product roadmap and evangelize the product strategy and vision it drives

• Drive a culture of accountability as well as the ability to respond to change

• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure whole team success and drive consumer/customer outcomes

• Recommends and implements department level processes, policies, and procedures

• Build a deep understanding of Landlord tools, technology and customer pain points

• Keen awareness of the market, competition, and customer journey

• Build feedback loops from internal and external sources to accurately inform your leadership decisions

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and "build, measure, learn"

• Recruit, manage, and train product managers

• Work with smart, curious and empathetic people that will constantly push you to be more strategic and ultimately, a better leader and professional
