CommunicationsCompose and prepare gift acknowledgement letters, gift invoices, correspondence, and other supporting materials for donors, on behalf of the museum director and the director of development.Assist in the preparation of briefing memos for donor-related meetings attended by the museum director, curators and director of development.Work collaboratively, proactively, and in a professional, service-oriented manner with UT's Texas Development office, conducting and coordinating research, serving as departmental liaison for this work.Provide data for stewardship-related donor mailings and mail merges.Data ManagementAssist in tracking departmental budget and moves management of individual and corporate donors.Process all non-membership financial and non-monetary gifts that are unrelated to event fundraising revenue.Produce reports on departmental fundraising progress, as well as track pledges and maintain the pledge reminder system. Track other statistics and analytics, as requested.Serve as department expert in the maintenance of development data in fundraising databases and ensure information is kept current.Enter contact reports into university donor database.FundraisingActively participate in meeting or exceeding annual departmental revenue goals. Goals will be assigned annually based on business needs of the organization.Provide additional support for larger events.AdministrativeAssist with prospect and donor research, individualized donor stewardship projects, and various forms of donor outreach as needed.Answer telephones, general inquiry email inboxes, and respond to general questions.Maintain copies of documents for physical and electronic files.Work with director of development to maintain development pages on the main Blanton website.Ensure compliance with museum, university and development policies and best practices.
