Google Channel Program Manager, Chrome OS in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in the technology industry in a program management, sales operations, customer support, account management, business development, marketing, or consulting role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.

  • Certification in program management or training.

  • 5 years of experience managing projects and customer relationships while working cross-functionally in a large organization.

  • 5 years of experience working with infrastructure, software, or platforms, with 2 years of experience in cloud services.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Chrome’s mission is to empower anyone to create and access information freely by making computing fast, secure, simple, and intelligent. The Google Chrome OS Commercial team is on the front lines of accelerating and growing Chrome OS adoption across Enterprise and Education.

The Chrome OS Go-To-Market (GTM) team plays a critical role in growing the Chrome OS ecosystem in Enterprise and Education institutions by collaborating with a variety of external Chrome OS partners including National Solution Providers (NSPs), Value Added Resellers (VARs), OEMs, Retailers, Distributors, and other strategic partners. The Channel Program team is responsible for motivating and scaling these channel partner ecosystems and businesses via strategic programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Design program requirements and implement programs that enable Chrome partners for different engagement models.

  • Design and implement programs that enable Chrome OS sell through via Partners and evaluate Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Provide framework for all scaled communications out to the partner network around pricing, promotion, and policy changes.

  • Represent the needs of the Chrome Reseller community internally within the Google Cloud Partner Program team and externally with strategic partners.

  • Identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customization that meet business requirements.
