The primary focus of a Business Generation Representative is to generate pipeline through targeted marketing events for the Oracle Global Industry Units (GIU). Pipeline is primarily generated through pre and post event outreach via multi-channel touchpoints including phone, email, and social outreach. BGRs will focus on awareness amplification and work to generate awareness across various GIU offerings via different sales platforms. As a BGR, you will act as the first contact for many prospects who are starting sales cycles for industry specific solutions. A BGR qualifies prospects and produces quality leads & opportunities for the GIU sales team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Connect prospective clients with Oracle and generate 5-Star leads that convert to revenue.

  • Grow industry market share through new logo revenue generation.

  • Be an all-star team player that brings their best to work every day and displays teamwork by sharing best practices, collaborating, and working with colleagues on a global scale.

  • Align closely with marketing team to drive awareness, engagement & attendance across various events within our GIU’s.

  • Amplify GIU content and generate solution awareness by leveraging various social platforms.

  • Engage prospects through variety of outreach channels with focus on key persona profiles including up to C-level decision makers.

  • Uncover & qualify prospective customer needs by understanding business challenges and engaging with key personas.

  • Build knowledge of the One Oracle stack and GIU solutions and become a trusted advisor to prospects.

  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity & collaboration through ad-hoc projects for various departments.

Requirements:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree.

  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, you have at minimum 5 years of relative work experience working in an outbound sales/business development role and/or Industry domain experience

  • You have 2+ years’ experience in sales and/or a business development outbound prospecting role.

  • Software and technology experience is not required.

  • Industry domain and outbound awareness, marketing, and event promotion experience preferred.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $22.26 to $34.86 per hour; from $46,300 to $72,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
