AT&T Hotel & Conference Center Bell Person/Attendant (Part-Time) in Austin, Texas

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose

To provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the transport and storage of guest luggage to guest room and conference center

  • Assist with guest packages

  • To properly “log” all trips with guest luggage

  • Responsible for a clean and “smart” appearance of uniforms

  • Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities

  • To be conversant with all hotel promotional programs (guest related)

  • Ensure cleanliness of bellclosets and bellcarts

  • Answer phones

  • Drive cars and shuttle vans

  • Welcomes and assists guests’ according to PLATNIUM SERVICE Standards.

  • Providing an excellent first impression to guests

  • Maintains a presence in the Front Drivethroughout the hours of the shift.

  • Greets all guests courteously, using the guest’s name whenever possible. Assist with the coordination of the arrivals and departures on the front drive including assisting the valet with calling cars, processing tickets and directions.

  • Demonstrates PLATNIUM SERVICE Standards in all interactions.

  • Remains observant and responds to each guest who passes through entrances.

  • Assists Housekeeping in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel Lobby and Entry way.

  • Follows Hotel’s telephone etiquette standards.

  • Follows Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

  • Reports suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Security

  • Ensures adherence to Code of Ethics
