Assists supervisor in the preparation of various food items for lunch and dinner including mixing various bread and pastry dough; fabricating and baking various breads and pastries, mixing and baking cakes, mixing and preparing frostings, icings, and glazes; frosting and icing cakes; slicing cakes.Assists supervisor with hands-on production, presentation, service, food, and physical safety. Ensure timely delivery of quality products in a safe manner.Assists supervisor with preparing product transfers and requisitions for bakery locations and completing daily production records, waste sheets, and temperature logs.Assists supervisor in cleaning all bakery areas and maintaining all hot and cold storage areas in a safe and organized condition.Remove food from production line; assist in food storage including covering and dating; pull inventory as needed.Effectively communicate with bakery staff, supervisory staff, and delivery locations.Maintain current knowledge of all areas of responsibility.Check computer printouts for menu amounts and recipes. Review menu and purchase requirements.
