Development Operations: Manage development operations and initiatives including but not limited to: annual giving campaigns and projects, endowment compliance and services, donor relations strategies, stewardship including maintaining a stewardship portfolio and supervising gift processing and reports. Handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information and prepare reports in a timely manner. Maintain document files, donor and prospect contact information, database records and all documents related to development programs, events and initiatives.Events: Plan and coordinate development events. Cultivate strong relationships between alumni, parents and friends and the Division of Student Affairs. Manage and lead events designed to solicit philanthropic gifts. Manage onsite logistics for events including making room reservations and arranging catering and coordinate staffing and volunteers. Develop and coordinate communication and promotions with appropriate staff.Fundraising: Work closely with the CDO to develop, plan, implement, and evaluate a program of strategic engagement with donors and other key stakeholders to grow the Division of Student Affairs base of support and increase annual giving. Actively participate in meeting or exceeding annual departmental revenue goals; responsible for meeting or exceeding individual fundraising goals for gifts under $100K. Goals will be assigned annually based on business needs of the organization.Management: Supervise the Alumni Engagement and Events Coordinator and student employee/intern positions. Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. Maintains staff by onboarding, training and mentoring employees. Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Develops personal growth opportunities.Other: Participate in required staff and programmatic meetings and college/university events, working with the Division of Student Affairs, Texas Development and other university colleges, schools and units. Work collaboratively, proactively and in a professional, service-oriented manner with all university staff. Attend specialized training as appropriate.
