UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Assistant Director of Student Affairs Operations in Austin, Texas

Coordinate with COLA HR and Finance to direct and manage all administrative operations for Student Affairs. Duties include, but are not limited to: payroll, human resources, employment recruitment, purchasing, payment vouchering, account reconciliation, reporting, inventory management.Establish budget priorities, as well as collect and track data on all advising initiatives. Supervise and evaluate advising staff, leading professional teams that are well equipped to meet student needs. Cultivate and sustain a culture of excellent customer service to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and prospective students.Serves as senior advisor to the Associate Dean and supports operations for the various components of the portfolio; works closely with other members of the Undergraduate Education team and academic department Chairs/Directors and business managers, to achieve optimal coordination of all activity regarding undergraduate education. Works with the Associate Dean to develop programs new to the portfolio and provides ongoing direction and project coordination for these programs and any new initiatives developed by the University and College administration.Work with the Dean's Office Event Planner to execute all student facing events including Commencement, Gone to COLA, Honor's Day, and Dean's Distinguished Graduates.Manage special projects as assigned by the Associate Dean.Schedule and work with Associate Dean on university wide committees including Student Success Advisory Committee, Assistant Deans' Council, Academic and Student Affairs Committee, UCRC, CARE Committee, and Orientation.Direct, manage, and supervise administrative staff.Other related functions as assigned
