Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for working with cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems? We're looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to help us bring complex assemblies to life! In this role, you'll your expertise to wire, assemble, troubleshoot, and calibrate a variety of systems, all while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. salary: $20 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair moderately complex electro-mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and fluid flow systems and subassemblies.

• Adjust and align components, performing "go-no-go" tests and using test fixtures or non-diagnostic electronic devices to verify functionality.

• Identify, diagnose, and correct assembly errors, then retest to ensure proper operation and adherence to design specifications.

• Follow work orders, engineering schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and verbal directions to build assemblies and subassemblies.

• Disassemble, rework, refurbish, and reassemble units as needed, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintains tolerance per established guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, including using protective equipment when required.

• Participate in ongoing safety training and report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately.

Physical Demands:

• This role involves physical work, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.

• Use of hand and power tools, and operation of heavy machinery, including forklifts, may be required.

• Ability to work in a noisy environment

• Must be able to work in tight spaces, on ladders or stairs, and differentiate between colors

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills

• electro-mechanical assembly (3 years of experience is required)

• troubleshooting (3 years of experience is required)
