Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the construction/contractor industry. Based in Austin, Texas, this role is instrumental in maintaining customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintaining meticulous records of customer credit.

• Regularly reviewing and updating customer accounts.

• Handling and resolving customer inquiries swiftly and professionally.

• Keeping track of all customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.

• Regularly monitoring all payment plan customer accounts.

• Ensuring all final payment documentation is saved and adheres to company standards.

• Conducting daily review of deposited items into the Customer Deposit account.

• Managing and resolving any remaining open balance issues within a set timeframe.

• Processing and applying final payments onto accounts via various methods including Credit Card, Cash, Check, and Funding Notifications.

• Regularly reviewing the AR aging report and developing streamlined processes for handling open items.

• Uploading homeowner payment files to the online database daily.

• Managing merchant disputes and issuing customer reimbursements.

• Conducting month-end audits of customer accounts and other tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) systems and procedures

• Experience in managing and maintaining customer accounts

• Strong skills in customer communication and customer experience management

• Familiarity with customer contracts and invoicing procedures

• Knowledge and experience in managing online payments and payment processing

• Ability to perform payments reconciliation, post payments, and receive payments efficiently

• Experience in handling deposits and preparing settlement statements

• Skills in B2B collections and related tasks

• Demonstrated ability to process payments and handle related tasks effectively

• Familiarity with accounts receivables systems and related software.
