Description Job Title: Accounting Specialist Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. This includes matching invoices to purchase orders, preparing journal entries, and assisting with financial statement preparations. Responsibilities: Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files. Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions. Manage vendor accounts, generate weekly payment reports. Review and handle the processing of invoices and bills. Preserve accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, tax payments, and other financial operations to ensure company policies are adhered to. Resolve account discrepancies and prepare adjusting journal entries. Assist in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring internal controls. Collaborate with other finance team members to prepare financial statements and reports. Provide support during financial reviews and audits. Perform administrative tasks as necessary. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office and accounting software. Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Degree in Accounting or related field preferred. The successful candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently as well as in a team, and be committed to maintaining the high standards of the company's financial and ethical integrity.
