Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing all aspects of accounting, from overseeing expense postings, reviewing financial packages, to assisting with annual audits and tax return preparation. You will also play a crucial role in coaching and mentoring accountants and assisting with the accounting for transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and loan closings.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate posting of all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for each accounting period.

• Review financial packages to ensure timely delivery to investors, lenders, and other management teams.

• Respond promptly to requests from management teams and clients/JV partners regarding various accounting issues and reports.

• Ensure timely payments of property taxes, debt obligations, etc.

• Assist property managers with the preparation of annual operating budgets and reconciliations.

• Contribute to annual audits and tax return preparation.

• Coach and mentor Senior and Associate accountants.

• Assist with the accounting for transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and loan closings.

• Comply with Partnership agreements.

• Undertake special projects and other related duties as may be assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary.

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is a must.

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.

• Auditing skills are important.

• Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently is required.
