Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host and Representative. This role combines traditional hosting responsibilities with a proactive approach to engaging potential customers and enhancing the restaurant's visibility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.

• Manage the seating process efficiently, ensuring guests are seated promptly and according to their preferences.

• Maintain a waitlist and communicate accurate wait times to guests.

• Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing information about the restaurant's offerings and making reservations when necessary.

• Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the restaurant, providing information about the menu, specials, and events.

• Stand outside the restaurant to actively engage with passersby and potential customers, effectively selling the restaurant’s unique offerings and ambiance.

• Distribute promotional materials and engage in direct marketing efforts to attract new patrons.

• Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team to execute marketing strategies aimed at increasing foot traffic and reservations.

• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area and throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

• Refined verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or sales is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.

• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
