Conduct full waveform inversion on multichannel and ocean bottom seismometer data to resolve fine scale velocity structure of the Guerrero Seismic Gap and neighboring segments of the Middle American Trench.Investigate links between rock properties, fluids, and slow-slip events of the Guerrero Seismic Gap and other subduction zones.Help develop and lead new research projects in related areas.Contribute to research within a vibrant group of students, postdocs, and staff.Present results to the scientific community and broader public.
