RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position supports Hormel’s investor relations function by analyzing relevant financial data of the company, creating messages communicated both internally and externally, conducting high level competitive research, and serving as a financial resource to management.

• Supports the preparation of financial and strategic information that is communicated by the CEO, CFO, and Director of Investor Relations to analysts and investors. This includes information communicated in quarterly earnings releases, investor conference calls, investor conferences, and buy-side roadshows.

• Conducts detailed financial analyses and makes recommendations to senior level management regarding external communications.

• Provides analysis of financial results and communicates significant drivers and trends to management.

• Conducts high level competitive research on the company's peer group and overall market to identify trends, drivers, and other financial and operational data.

• Holds responsibility for the content and presentation format of the company's investor relations website.

• Supports the Director of Investor Relations with direct communication to investors and sell-side analysts.

• Leads the preparation of the annual report.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Level of position offered (Investor Relations Analyst / Senior Investor Relations Analyst) will be determined based on candidates skill set and experience.

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree

• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a financial field.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• A pattern of initiative and leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks that have different levels of urgency.

• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Well-developed software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

LOCATION: Austin, MN – a comprehensive relocation package to the Austin, MN area will be provided if relocating.
