Must be able to work in non-climate controlled enviorment

  • Ability to assist in safely setup and operate equipment to meet production requirements.

  • Ability to use hand tools including wrenches.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders to understand machine setup requirements.

  • Ability to calculate conversion of fractions to decimals, ability to read a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.

  • Assist cutter operator with making adjustments as necessary for each work order using hand tools.

  • Assist with changeovers between work orders to meet specifications

  • Assist winder operator with installation and adjustment of mandrel during setup process.

  • Communicate with winder operator, keeping him/her abreast of quality concerns, equipment issues and material counts.

  • Remove finished cores from cutter drop table and manually stack them onto pallets, racks or into boxes.

  • Perform periodic quality checks to ensure compliance to specifications and/or COAs using the CSAR quality system.

  • Ability to understand which nylon to use and when nylons needs to be changed.

  • Help troubleshoot and correct quality issues such as, double cuts, fuzzy ends, burrs and hairs.

  • Compliance to all OPEX recordkeeping requirements

  • Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Ability to follow company policies and guidelines

  • Performs other tasks, as required.

1st and 2nd shift available

salary: $15.5 - $16 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 5 AM - 3 PM

education: High School
