Minimum/Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Agronomy, Applied Economics, Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soils, or other related disciplines. National record of scholarly achievement in research, extension, instructional, and/or service activities commensurate with the rank of Associate or Full Professor with tenure. At least five years of experience supervising and managing personnel. Demonstrated experience with budget development and success in meeting budgetary goals. Clear understanding and commitment to the mission of land grant institutions. Outstanding professional and collaborative leadership. Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Success in securing internal and external programmatic support for instruction, research, service, or outreach. Proven capacity to collaborate with various individuals, including faculty, staff, students, stakeholders, public agencies and private organizations, growers, volunteers, and the general public.
