Are you looking for a place to use your skills as a Powder Coater? Adecco is currently recruiting for Finish Operator in the Streetsboro, Ohio area. Our client is an Industry leader in providing power distribution and quality monitoring solutions.
Position Description:
The Finish Operator will be responsible for the application of powder to various metal surfaces to enhance its appearance and provide protection. This role requires the monitoring and operation of equipment and facilities while ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. The operator must always maintain safety standards and initiate and follow emergency procedures when necessary.

!st and 2nd Shift Avaialable
Pay starts at $20 an hour
Responsibilities:
Operate automated powder coating equipment
Load and unload parts from overhead conveyer
Observe parts going through the line to make sure processes are working properly
Touch-up parts in powder coating booth as necessary using manual powder coating guns
Maintain wash/coating system tank concentrations and pH using probes, titrations, and other methods
Pull wastewater samples and check for proper pH to maintain permitted values
Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating on surfaces
Ability to read and interpret various build specifications, quality requirements and computer-generated documents
Ensures a quality product is completed according to specifications
Visually inspects parts for defects
Performs Quality Checks as directed
Responsible for maintaining 5S in the work area
Follow company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations
Communicates in an efficient and effective manner with coworkers and supervisors to ensure jobs are completed correctly
Demonstrates the proper use of tools and equipment
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings accurately
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
Finishing in a manufacturing environment or transferrable manufacturing experience
Must have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow direction
Ability to use hand tool
Ability to handle intricate parts
Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended time periods, up to the entire shift
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
Must be able to reach above and forward at least 18 inches
Must possess hand dexterity and install small hardware
Must have good vision to inspect parts and assemblies
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
