Responsibilities

• Set up and operation of trimming machine units including verifying blade quality, trim speed and pressure, and trim depth

• Inspection of finished units to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards

• Complete production reporting and recordkeeping including quality inspections and work orders

• Assembly of packing materials, labels, and finished work pieces

• Ensures correct identification and palletization of product

• Informs Production Supervisor, Team Leader, and/or Maintenance of equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime

• Maintains safe and clean work environment

• Observes all Plant procedures, policies, and guidelines

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ manufacturing experience required; previous set-up and operation experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• General mechanical and trouble shooting ability

• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop and/or kneel continuously

• Ability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled

• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Company guidelines

• Good verbal, writing, and math skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with others

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

• Must be able to stand for continuously for 12 hours

• Lift 45+ lbs. repeatedly throughout during shift

• Twist / Turn repeatedly throughout during shift

• Bending/ Stooping repeatedly throughout during shift

• Pushing Pulling repeatedly during shift

COM

$18 hour (plus $2.00 hour differential for night shifts)
