The Opportunity

The Business Procedures Consultant ensures base compensation in paid on time to brokers, general agents, and third-party entities. He or she will support compensation initiatives for new products and new compensation programs with a focus on continuous improvement, simplification, and risk reduction. The role works closely Implementation, Sales Support, Account Mangers, Product Design, technology, and other support organizations.

Business Procedures Consultant’s analyze and respond to broker inquiries, while reviewing and developing new compensation workflows which enhance efficiency and team capacity. The Business Procedures Consultant create and maintains procedures to support process and technology changes. The Business Procedures Consultant will be required to manage small projects, influence change, and make presentations in person and virtually to leaders, partners, and peers. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships with internal operations, product design, and technology partners.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

· 5+ years of relevant business experience.

· Ability to thrive in a challenging environment, which is continuously evolving to meet market needs.

· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organization skills.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.

What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Strong working knowledge of the Group Benefits business and Group Broker compensation.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

  • Thriving on continuously learning and change.

· Knowledge of the Cognos reporting tool, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (Examples Pivot Table Skills, V-Lookups, etc.)

· Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.
