Job Title: Temporary Study Coordinator

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and obtain informed consent from subjects based on strict inclusion/exclusion criteria

  • Complete data entry using various data electronic capturing systems (REDCap, Medidata, EPIC, etc)

  • Coordinate study visits, procedures with multiple departments and research teams

  • Biospecimen collection, preparation, processing and shipment (urine, blood, etc)

  • Adherence to and technical knowledge of regulatory compliance issues related to human subjects research

  • Serve as primary or back up study coordinator in completing study visits, including assisting with various study procedures

  • May need to create, preparation and submission of clinical research documents (consent forms, maintenance, and reconciliation of study database report forms, IRB applications, etc)

  • Participate in study trainings on protocols, team and divisional staff meetings

  • Ability to administer medications (if properly licensed)

  • Other duties as assigned

This is a temporary position that is exempt from the sate classified system based on 100% funding from gifts, grants or auxiliaries. Positions have limited duration work assignments in accordance with university and campus policies and are not part of the regular staffing pattern for the organization. Appointments are limited to 9 months. The Department of Rheumatology is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, self-driven individual for a temporary, full-time position (40 hours/week, up to 9 months) to support the Clinical Trials team in performing research related tasks. This 1.0 FTE position is based at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. This Study Coordinator position will be responsible for screening, recruitment, enrollment, data entry, regulatory compliance, and assisting research coordinators in duties associated with performing clinical research activities. Individuals with CCRC/CCRP certification or medical assistant/nursing license are preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a productive member of the Clinical Trials team and participate in research projects. Candidate will work closely with investigators, study coordinators and study nurse. Excellent communication skills, the ability to move efficiently between tasks, and orientation toward teamwork and cooperation are required. The applicants should demonstrate that they are well organized, reliable, independent, and possess considerable attention to detail. They should also have excellent verbal, written and computational skills.

The salary range () for this position has been established at $18.00 to $25.00 / hour.
