Job Overview

Inspects and repairs non-clinical equipment for compliance to documented safety and performance standards.

Department Name: Clinical Engineering Job Status: full time, 40 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, in person role.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - High School Diploma or Equivalent EXPERIENCE - 3 years' experience in medical, industrial, or commercial job related field.

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE No direct patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs repairs, inspections, and provides regularly scheduled maintenance on support equipment, specializing in preventative maintenance and on-demand repairs of clinical support equipment to include, but not limited to: beds, cribs, stretchers, refrigerators, freezers, ice and water machines, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, other kitchen related equipment, CHCO owned vehicles, and exterior spaces equipment. Inspects equipment for compliance to documented safety and performance standards. Documents work activities according to department policies, professional standards of practice, and organizational standards. Utilize the appropriate technical documentation and parts, when performing necessary repairs and maintenance. Communicates appropriately with all staff, vendors and customers; provides project updates to supervisor.
