Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in hospitality management, communications, public relations, business administration, healthcare administration, or another related field.

  • Two (2) years of professional level experience working in higher education.

  • Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with University of Colorado procurement systems (i.e. Concur, Marketplace, Cvent etc.).

  • Experience booking travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, rental cars, etc.).

  • Experience with multimedia production (photography and videography) and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience working in Canva.

  • Experience working in Sitefinity (website platform)

  • Meeting and event planning experience including contract negotiation, exhibitor management, and catering expertise.

  • Knowledge of social media standard processes and community management for platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and TikTok

  • Experience working within branding guidelines

This full-time position is responsible for planning and overseeing events, event marketing, and social media for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This includes a variety of Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses, including larger events throughout the year at offsite locations including the Department's annual Vail OB-GYN Conference. This position will work in a collaborative, close relationship with the department CME & Education Coordinator, marketing professional, faculty, and staff to establish the schedules and work processes that contribute to the ongoing development, analysis and evaluations of existing and proposed educational programs, marketing, and events within the department. As the face of the department at various events and platforms, this position is responsible for representing the department in an utmost professional manner to attendees, exhibitors, faculty, and community members. In addition to event planning, this position works to support the marketing principal professional to complete social media updates, write content, update the website, and advertise events for the department. This individual will also create print and digital marketing materials and signage for department events including ordering promotional materials and swag. This individual is also responsible for planning, producing, and analyzing the effectiveness of digital communications for the Department of OB-GYN's education and clinical groups, this work also happens across a variety of platforms including email, event registration and websites. This position will work with clinical faculty and staff to create creative content for various department and divisional marketing efforts including visual, copywriting, story creation, and video editing (as needed).

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 1-2# days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $54,254 - $69,012 The above salary range () represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
