Your new role – challenging and future-oriented : Demand Planning Professional (Operational Buyer)

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds - This is your role:

• Ensure timely placement of purchase orders on approved vendors as per defined SOB.

• Ensure timely delivery of components from vendors with regular follow up to meet the manufacturing plan.

• Re-evaluate Existing vendors/Develop alternate vendors to continuously improve delivery and quality reliability along with cost competitiveness.

• To monitor and control the inward movement of materials & maintain the optimum inventory levels.

• Drive cost reduction measures to maintain market competitiveness.

• Prepare monthly reports for business KPI’s

Technical Skills:

• Sound Knowledge of MS office (Advance knowledge of MS EXCEL, PowerPoint, MS apps)

• Working knowledge of SAP (MM)

• Experience in understanding and managing complex suppliers.

• Knowledge of Materials Management

• Knowledge of procurement of technology company.

• Experience in procurement of machined parts, subcontracting, Imports preferred etc.

• Knowledge of Supplier’s Risk assessment & mitigation strategies.

He should have ability to work with different cross functional teams to overcome hurdles, dispute resolution, and provide guidance to bidding team.

You should be a Graduate / Mechanical engineering

Excellent analytical skills

Excellent Communication, Presentation Skills, Result, Quality orientation & Customer orientation

Experience of 2+ years preferably in Procurement / Logistics.
