Job Summary
As a Web Developer you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to the client’s specifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a Web Developer to execute the visual direction of our web presence. This individual will be responsible for the majority of our creative web design work, playing a crucial role in shaping our online brand identity and user experience. This position is full-time, remote, and a 6-week contract.
Due to the nature of this position, all candidates must be able to work direct for any employer without sponsorship.
Candidates must attach/provide examples of web design projects with resume.
What You'll Do:
Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites and pages, ensuring responsiveness across multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Translate complex information into intuitive and engaging visual experiences, creating the creative assets for our web properties
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
Present design rationale and champion creative solutions to stakeholders
Develop and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all web properties
Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations
Contribute significantly to the overall web design strategy of the company
What You'll Need :
5+ years of experience in driving creative web designs, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of substantial projects
Strong proficiency in design software such as AEM, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices
Experience with AEM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge is sufficient; front-end development experience is a plus)
Ability to lead independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
