Job Description:

MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team at the Graybirch facility. This role is crucial for developing and implementing nutrition plans that enhance patient wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' nutritional status and needs to develop personalized care plans.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy.

  • Partner with departmental leaders to offer nutritionally appropriate menus, food options, and services for both patients and visitors.

  • Develop and deliver programming, education, training, and counseling services to support the health of both patients and the community.

Requirements:

  • Maine State licensure as a Dietitian.

  • Registration as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required upon expiration of temporary Maine State licensure.

  • ServSafe certification preferred.

  • Must pass an annual Maine Background Criminal Check as required by MaineGeneral Health for employees at the Graybirch or Glenridge facilities.
