equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in

environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting

preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, document, and lead RPM weld training to include the Gas, Metal, ARC and Welding (GMAW) process,

blueprint reading, and safety requirements in weld shop.

  • Create and maintain a detailed schedule for RPM training to ensure students are able to pass a weld

certification test within 90 days of starting the program.

  • Administer and oversee weld certification tests upon completion of training.

  • Create and maintain detailed training matrix for new and current students to identify training gaps in

different processes.

  • Conduct classroom trainings for all program students, to include safety policies and etiquette of weld

machinery.

  • Perform visual, destructive weld, and blueprint testing of equipment in weld shop per American Welding

Society standards.

  • Supervise employees in the welding apprentice program to ensure parts are being inspected for quality

purposes.

  • Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance

objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires. (for roles with direct reports)

  • Contributes to a culture of respect, dignity and inclusion, where everyone, feels heard and

understood, empowered and valued.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; CWI certification required or ability to obtain within 1

year of accepting position; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Years of Experience: 5 years of production welding within manufacturing preferred

  • Six Sigma experience preferred.

  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office
