Robert Half Office Manager in Augusta, Georgia

Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Augusta, Georgia, in the role of an Office Manager. This position involves the management of various office tasks, including receptionist duties, meeting coordination, personnel management, and maintaining accounts payable processing cycle. The industry we operate in requires proficiency in various software systems and familiarity with multiple accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a receptionist, accepting, screening, and routing telephone calls

• Distribute incoming and outgoing mail, prepare responses to routine inquiries

• Manage office supplies, including inventory, ordering, and distribution

• Coordinate meetings, appointments, conference calls, and schedule interviews

• Provide coordination for board and sub-committee meetings, including scheduling facilities and preparing materials

• Oversee hiring processes, including screening candidates, coordinating applications, and managing interview schedules

• Conduct pre-employment screening for new hires, including reference checks, background checks, and license/certification verification

• Manage new employee onboarding processes, including creating files, producing name badges, and coordinating computer setup

• Administer employee benefits, manage open enrollment periods, and complete changes to employee benefits as needed

• Handle accounts payable processing cycle, ensuring purchases have been approved in accordance with established policies, invoice coding, and correspondence with vendors. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

• Skilled in Accounting Functions

• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Proven Customer Service skills

• Ability to record Meeting Minutes

• Experience in preparing Meeting Materials

• Familiarity with Hiring Processes

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience in Recruiting
