Network Designs Inc Cyber Security Analyst (Mid Level), Ft. Gordon, GA in Augusta, Georgia

Responsibilities:

The Cyber Security Analyst assesses security controls for various systems and conducts evaluations of information system components, management, and design, focusing on information security aspects and accreditation according to the NIST Risk Management Framework. The candidate will review program documentation such as Risk Assessments, Security Plans, and Contingency Plans and document control reviews and findings on time and as they occur according to client requirements. The Cyber Security Analyst conducts ongoing assessments of contractor facilities as needed to ensure compliance with security requirements tailoring requirements. The candidate must have the ability to interpret controls and apply them to a variety of implementations. Other support work, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Required, CI Polygraph Eligible
  • 6 years' minimum overall experience
  • Bachelor's of Science Information Technology or other related technical field
  • 4 years in Cyber Network Defense operational and/or analysis position
  • 4-8 years of experience with Federal Accreditation testing
  • Experience with Incident Response Experience in cyber security tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • SOC and/or CIRT operational experience
  • Experience working on and supporting classified networks
  • Enterprise audit aggregation, logging, and analysis experience
  • Network scanning experience (e.g, DISA ACAS)
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and ICD 503
  • Network LAN and Virtual Hosting experience
  • DOD 8570 certification
  • Document control reviews and findings as they occur according to client requirements.
  • Candidate must be a great communicator (both written and verbal) and be able to work with a group as well as independently
  • Report writing experience
  • Understanding of Privacy Concepts
  • Understanding of information management and protection systems (AV, Patch management, etc.)
  • Utilize various information system inspection tools to audit systems, analyze potential vulnerabilities and identify mitigation approaches
  • Interview skills
  • Understanding of security control concepts
  • Understanding of program security and information systems security best practices
  • Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, organized, and detail oriented
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
