OTIS is looking for a talented Senior Service Field Coordinator. This is a permanent role based in our Auckland office.

About You

This is an integral role in which you would be reporting to the National Service Operations Manager and managing the logistics of Lift Maintenance schedules and callbacks. You will also raise purchase orders (POs), invoicing, appointment setting, and logistics coordination.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Organize the maintenance schedule for jobs and call-back times and provide this to the Service Operations Manager so they can advise their Field employees and organize their work schedule.

  • Communicate and liaise with customers regarding access to work sites for call-outs and repair works.

  • On a roster basis, stand-by as Duty Supervisor to assist night call mechanics and dispatch emergency service parts interstate when necessary; this includes attending to callbacks as requested and on weekends.

  • Manage customer communication regarding call-outs and repairs.

  • Plan and Manage the Technicians' daily workloads and schedules to meet customer expectations and company targets.

  • Manage the technicians' licenses, security apps, and certifications to ensure all details are up-to-date and current.

  • Raise purchase orders (POs), invoicing, appointment setting, and logistics coordination for Field teams.

  • Analyse, present, and advise the Service Managers (using data from NGS & NGMM) of variations, trends, and ongoing behavior patterns.

  • Assist the Service Manager with Annual Surveys and Audits as required, including validating quality of service/maintenance/repair.

  • Maintain and work on the Quality System, including procedures and manuals.

What YOU Will Need To Be Successful

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Building Management or any relevant field.

  • Experience within a high-risk industry (construction, lifts, buildings), with preferably two (2) years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strong stakeholder management abilities.

  • Have the capability to interact effectively with employees at all levels (Field and Non-Field)

  • Good knowledge of using technology, including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database management) to analyze data and trends.

  • Possess good time management skills and organizational abilities.

  • Is highly organized, structured, and able to deal with multiple tasks and competing priorities.

  • Eye for details and is results-driven.
