TEKsystems IT Service Center Technician in Auburn, Washington

Work in an IT Service Center and Field support environment. Using established processes, perform software and hardware break/fix. Helping customers via phone, in person and remotely. Work with Service Level Attainment goals, maintaining efficient analysis and repair. Occasional travel to different local sites. Position potentially requires a lot of walking.

Role Responsibilities:

o The primary role for this position will be to perform onsite troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades for client hardware and software resolution.

o Performs hands-on and in-depth troubleshooting and associated repairs of failed client hardware and software.

o Performs thorough documentation of all service activities.

o Perform analysis and restore or repair customer asset usability in a fast paced environment, using multi-tasking abilities.

Qualifications:

• A+ Certification required, Net+ Certification recommended

• Experience troubleshooting basic networking issues

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrate good customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time to complete tasks

• Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

• Advanced hands-on experience troubleshooting & repairing client hardware.

• Possess strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

• 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
