What You Will Do: Manage the automation system through a team of Leads and associates the decanting, order fulfillment, quality control, replenishment, cubicscan and product consolidation. Train and coach, the staff of supervisors and warehouse associates on the various functions utilized within the automation system. Key focus in staff development and cross training warehouse associates. Analyze products and determine if it qualifies to be placed in the automation system and if the product should be set-up for loose and case pick. Assess productivity and quality measurements. Work with supervisors and associates to ensure workflows are followed. Manage the team of automation technicians to keep the automation system operating at maximum performance. Collaborate with SUSA logistics and Dematic. Manage insights reporting tied to Dematic Productivity daily. Collaboration with Maintenance team ensuring the machinery and uptimes are monitored. Manage all metrics and deliverables as set by leadership for optimal performance. Managing staffing model by shift. What You Will Bring: Experience in logistics automation Minimum 5 years logistics experience managing in a distribution center environment. Demonstration of increased responsibilities throughout career. Experience with warehouse automation Goods-To-Person systems is critical. Strong leadership, management, analytical, and communication skills. Coaching and mentoring of employees. Operational knowledge of automation processes. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and knowledge of Power Bi to drive data based decisions a plus. Ability to understand, with training, the Eclipse and Dematic warehouse operating systems. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Opening Flexibility to work all shifts as required. Ability to work physical inventory. Ability to work in an extreme hot or cold environment. Ability to work in dusty conditions. Salary & Compensation: This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime.
