Regulatory Reporting Senior Technology Manager At Comerica we are transforming the colleague experience through our Digital journeys that is powered by Technology. The Senior Technology Manager will work with some of the best technologist and business leaders to build and innovative Regulatory Reporting solutions from idea to solution using cloud architecture, modern development, and automation best-practices until the technology is in the hands of our colleagues. The Finance Senior Technology Manager would need to own each aspect of technology for the Finance Business and drive robust collaboration with various stakeholders. This would encompass current and day to day execution as well as the transformational program. This role requires ensuring that the right delivery practices are put in place as well as continuously improved such that the right business and technology outcomes can be achieved - in full alignment with the business. The role requires creating the right environment, inputs such that innovation is made integral to every function undertaken by the team; to ensure that the respective Agile teams not only undertake the completion of the required tasks but continually think of more ways to deliver greater value to Comerica stakeholders. Ensures optimization of production practices and continually aims to have the right tools and data implemented to create a stable and resilient set of applications and continuous improvement in the various metrics. Role requires a need to create the effective working relationships with all the key business and support unit senior stakeholders across the Comerica footprint and create the effective collaboration with supporting platform teams. All of these dimensions require attracting and maintaining the right talent in the team; also, the creation of the right risk and control culture, continuously engage, motivate team members, and instill the digital agenda within team. Position Responsibilities: Strategy Partner with corporate functional leaders and execute a technology strategy that will enhance overall business capabilities. Stay abreast of technology industry trends and best practices. Continuously transform the organization to increase efficiencies and reduce overall expense. Partner with innovation team to test and learn emerging technology and its viable applicability to enhance corporate business capabilities. Delivery Planning and Execution Create, prioritize, plan, and execute portfolio/product roadmaps through collaboration with Product Management and DevOps, including the on-going resequencing of projects in the portfolio roadmap as priorities shift. Complete 90% of projects within 5-10% of approved funding and 1 month of baselined completion date. Reduce time to market by utilizing Agile methodologies. Provides insights on risks based on broad experience. Develops project risk profile, mitigation plan and contingency plan. Technology/Operational/ Risk Control Lead integration and synergy between architecture/technology planning and development initiatives, providing direction and decisions in application development to support platforms. Cultivate good system management disciplines including clearly defined and documented roles and responsibilities, documented phase processes and checkpoint and detailed planning for system deployment. Ensures compliance and control activities support technology and enterprise business objectives and are aligned with executive risk tolerances and expectations. Ensures processes and controls within assigned area to enhance performance, security, reliability, and availability of systems.
