Mechanical Engineer (Auburn, AL) - Full Time

Perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Provide technical engineering services for new and commercialized products and processes. Contribute to product and process development and sustaining engineering; as well as qualifying and transferring products, equipment and processes from RandD into Manufacturing. Work closely with RandD, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Applications Engineering Program Management; as well as with outside consultants, contract engineering companies, suppliers, universities, codevelopers and customers.

Position Requirements:

Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related, plus 12 months of experience in job offered or as Manufacturing Engineer, Assistant Production Engineer or related.
