Description

Reports to the Assistant Director, Workforce Development Operations; provides instruction as directed and uses effective teaching methods; measures student learning outcomes and progress; monitors attendance logs and required documentation; works with program coordinator/manager; performs related duties as assigned

• Computer Applications, Management Skills, Basic Communications Verbal, Basic Communications Written, Business Writing

Typical Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Minimum of 3 years experience teaching the subject area

• Experience teaching adults

• Strong oral and written communication skills, and technology skills, including Microsoft Office.

Supplemental Information

This position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.

This is a part time position requiring up to 26 hours per week.

Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension (https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/pension-active-dcrp.shtml) . Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
