Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for a project located in Atlantic Beach, FL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Assure Tank/Compartment has an Updated Safe for Hot Work Ticket and Conditions have not Changed since the Ticket was Written

• Assure safety issues are complied with that relate to the specific job being accomplished

• Assure that all client related safety procedures including testing are utilized for all torch work

• Assure that a 30 min cool down period has been accomplished in hot work areas

• Assure that fire watches are assigned, maintained in the proper position

• Ensure cleanliness of job site

• Identify pipe class material fittings

• Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of Shipyard Pipefitting Experience

• Ability to work OT/Weekends as needed

• Must be able to obtain a valid passport

• Ability to travel as needed

• Must be able to get security clearance

• Reliable Transportation

• Experience with Basic Stick Ruler Measurements

• Must have Heavy Equipment Operation Experience

• Must have basic knowledge of hand/power tools, testing equipment

• Must have knowledge of installing various pipe hangers, type 1 & 2

• Must have knowledge of torch safety

• Must have basic blanking, tagging knowledge

• Mus have knowledge of ship design layout

• Must have familiarity with WAFS

• Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs

• Must be able to pass vision test
