Job Title: Sr. Facilities Supervisor

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Salary: $80,136

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: The Sr. Facility Supervisor role is responsible for facilitating, coordinating and providing oversight of maintenance and repair work performed on building operating systems and equipment as assigned throughout the Central Passenger Terminal Complex. The Sr. Facility Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all operations and maintenance tasks are performed for building operating systems and equipment in accordance with AATC policies, procedures and processes. The Sr. Facility Supervisor is the point of contact for parties internal and external to AATC in addressing facility maintenance issues with facility maintenance service providers and outside contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects the quality of performed routine, non-routine, and even the most complex troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance work. This requires the application of considerable knowledge of departmental equipment, facilities, and operations. Performs all assigned tasks to ensure the safe and continuous operation of all building systems and equipment.

  • Supporting AATC’s Asset Management Policy, this role will contribute to the work of others to:

    • Plan for Contingencies

    • Develop and communicate preventive maintenance plans

    • Control Operations

    • Maintain assets

    • Develop and deploy suppliers

    • Leading team of 4-8 people

    • Creating weekly/monthly reports

    • KPI quality assurance

  • Personally, makes periodic site inspections and evaluations and reports on the results of those inspections.

  • Ensure full compliance with environmental permits, applicable government regulations and corporate policies.

  • Handles a varied workload and multiple priorities while working as a team with co-workers to accomplish company and project goals.

  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections for building operating systems and equipment as assigned. Notifies Supervisor of all work performed, and documents deficiencies identified by completed inspections with computerized maintenance management system.

  • Conducts follow-up inspections of corrective actions on building operating systems and equipment completed by facility maintenance service providers and outside contractors to ensure the work meets all acceptance requirements, which includes field work and work order documentation.

  • Demonstrates full and current knowledge of all OSHA Safety requirements and maintains compliance with these requirements at all time,

  • Provides input for planning, development, and utilization of the annual department budget.

  • Contributes input for special projects and bid solicitation processes.

  • Represents Company always with professionalism and a commitment to quality.

  • Assists in snow and ice clearing operations.

  • Provides after-hours emergency coverage.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must possess 2+ years of AATC Facility Maintenance experience and a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of experience in maintenance in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

  • OSHA 30 hour certified.

  • Possess a working knowledge of principals, laws, regulations, and accepted practices governing personnel control and administration, building system maintenance, cleaning and repair, contract administration, and governmental codes regarding building practices.

  • Familiar with various testing devises and power tools related to the mechanical trades for determining safe and appropriate use.

  • Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with safety rules, regulations and guidelines including NFPA, OSHA, ADA, and EPA compliance codes.

  • Highly skilled in MS Office (Particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).

  • Able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays). Available for on call.

  • Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by finger print analysis.
