Test Lab Technician located in Atlanta, GA for a leading manufacturer of consumer goods. This role is responsible for the completion and administration of benchmark testing within a lab setting. To be considered - must have ability to maintain, set up and run mechanical lab equipment (Ideally within the consumer goods or related industry).

This is a contract opportunity for twelve (12) months.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical ability within a testing/lab environment

• Ability to maintain, set up and run mechanical lab test equipment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Ability to calculate and analyze data, plot curves, create graphs/charts and write formal test reports

Preferred:

• College degree in a science discipline

• Experience in a Consumer Product industry

responsibilities:

• Responsible for the completion and administration of benchmark testing, product qualification, and legal claims validation using Six Sigma tools and methodology

• Perform various experiments and tests associated with the development and analysis of consumer good products

• Collecting data, documenting results, writing reports, developing procedures and interpreting the findings

• Perform testing of products with a willingness to create standard & unique test setups

• Supports the development and fabrication of unique test set-ups to meet engineering requirements
